Work stress is beginning to kick in. But like it or not, that is definitely part and parcel of life that everyone has to go through.
Don't know how many times have I mentioned this but it's just way too tough juggling my daily activities with constant blogging. Let alone blogging, I rarely have spare time to catch up on my TVB drama series as well.
During times like this, one thing I really miss is to go on a vacation again.
Like seriously, any short simple foreign trip will do.

Two months ago, Mr.Har (my ex-lecturer) planned a roadtrip with a couple of unimates and I to Kampar and Penang Island. What's best was he sponsored our accommodation at Kampar and the following night at Penang Island. ;)

We took off on the road around 10pm. Took us roughly 3hours before reaching Kampar at past midnight.
Rose up early next morning intending to visit the main Kampar's UTAR campus before we drove to Penang.

The night spent at Grand Kampar Hotel was surprisingly extremely comfortable. Way beyond our expectation. Or maybe because we underestimated the hotel services and facilities.

It's no doubt that this campus offers an incredibly scenic view. A perfect studying environment I'd reckon.

Hundreds of bicycles owned by university students parked at the side of the lane.

Shortly after breakfast, we left for Penang.

Standing in a huge Penang ferry.

Upon reaching the other side of the Penang jetty, we were welcomed by another two unimates
(p/s: They're both Penangites.) and then lead to a famous stall selling
luk luk for only 30cents per stick. *gasp*

We also stuffed ourselves with otak-otak...

...fishball noodle soup and chee cheong fun.

Sook Fang and I at Gurney Drive in the evening.
Among the food we ordered...

Char kuey teow and Cendol.

Asam laksa and O-chien.

Some snail seafood.

On the following day, group photo
[Me, Mr.Har, Pei Chie, Wee Yuan, Sook Fang, Tyng Feng and Joey] minutes before checking out.

For breakfast, we had yee mee and char kuey teow again. ;)

Doing our food shopping.
Joey was very keen on taking the train to climb up to the top of Penang Hill. But due to the heavy rain, it deterred us from doing so.

Left with no other choices, we headed to the temple instead.

Obviously, an idea I wasn't really fond of because of the unbearable choking joss stick smoke.

That's Pei Chie and Tyng Feng, the
sampat yet loving couple.

Joey and I.

Joey, looks as though she was playing with the waterfall.

I remember feeling very excited seeing so many turtles here when I was younger.

Standing along the Penang bridge highway.

Looking at this photo makes me realize how much fun they've brought into my life for the past three years.
I miss them, badly.
